Chief Operating Officer

Rebecca "Becca" King joined Recurrent as the Chief Operating Officer in June 2026. Becca oversees the firm’s compliance program, operational infrastructure, and risk management framework, and helps to support the firm’s continued growth and commitment to excellence.

Rebecca brings more than two decades of deep experience in global compliance leadership, financial communications oversight, and financial crime prevention. She joined Recurrent from Invesco, where she most recently served as Global Head of Core Compliance for Communications and Financial Crime Compliance. In that role, she led worldwide teams responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across all financial communications, including sales and marketing materials, spanning multiple jurisdictions and business lines. She also oversaw a global financial crime compliance organization focused on delivering comprehensive, jurisdiction‑specific approaches to risk mitigation and regulatory adherence.

Rebecca began her career with Invesco in 1999 as a marketing specialist for AIM Investments, later spending a decade in sales and sales leadership roles before transitioning into Compliance in 2010. Her broad exposure across the organization, combined with her operational insight and leadership experience, propelled her into increasingly senior global roles.

She holds a BS in kinesiology with a minor in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Becca lives in Houston with her husband and two teenage sons. Outside of the office you can find her hiking and enjoying the outdoors with her family, reading preferably in a hammock on the beach or taking in live music in and around the city.
